The other night I decided to enter hibernation mode on my client.
I did this with the aid of the built-in "shut down" menu in mediaportal.

After the client was done hibernating I checked on the server.
It was still timeshifting the channel that was last tuned by the now hibernated client.

This leaves the tuner locked from other clients.

    :(

Had you switched off the TV on home menu before client was hibernated?

    Nope, I didn't.
In order to gain a high WAF score this step should be eliminated.

I think the MP client should be able to automatically shutdown the tv properly before going into hibernation since hibernation was activated from within MP itself.

If I hibernate the client PC by hitting the power button on the PC then MP should be able to receive an event from windows and act accordingly. So again it should be possible for MP to close any TV connections in use.

I 2nd that, im watching TV when going to bed often, once getting tired I dont want to shut down X different things but just press the "off" button on my remote. (which puts PC to hibernate) MP should handle this correctly.

/OT A timer would be a nice thing to add aswell.

    Regards, Muldini
