home screen bug (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, I have been using streamMP and I love it. I recently installed 1.0.2 and now I have this going on in the home screen. I also installed purevisionHD. I dont know if that has any change the only thing I can think of is that PVHD makes you put in a font in the windows font. I dont know if that has any effect on streamMP. Thanks for any help I can get, I want me old home screen back.

I think you need to start MP with the basic home screen (general options in the config program)

MP config\general, enable start on basic home screen, you are in the Home Screen, or green button user press that and it will switch

I dont think I explained this clearly. When I am selecting something in the screen that I have the pic of (non-basic home) then what I have selected is on the bottom instead of in the middle. The pic is on movies (at the bottom) and it is selected, not what is in the middle. I would like it back to the middle selection.

Uninstall StreamedMP from control panel, make sure you have latest version from website and reinstall.

Now delete cache folder contents for StreamedMP, they are found at these locations

XP = C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

Vista = C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

I think there might be a bug somewhere in the 'Home' plugin, in particular the handling of the option 'Fix Scroll Bar'.

This option is located in Configuration->Plugins->Home->Configuration

Try toggling this option and restarting, you might need to do this a few times from memory.

fyi...the StreamedMP installer will automatically delete its cache folder whenever you Install/Modify/Uninstall.

So if you want to delete the cache all you need to do is run through the Modify/Change in Control Panel->Add\Remove programs, no need to Uninstall and Re-install.

Hey thanks a lot for the info. I was trying out PureVision HD, but I am on the fence and my wife doesn't like it. So I decided to go back to streamMP and this is what happened. I think it if from 1.0.2 but who knows. The only thing I would love for streamMP would be a better myemulators skin. I was wondering if there was a tutorial for skinning or if I should try to borrow one, because with myEmulators looking good streamMP would be the best skin (in my opinion). Thanks again for the replys I will try it out later and let you know how it went.
