Hi Oxan,

I have a bunch of home videos that I can view in MP using the My Videos plugin, but these dont show up at all under the Videos section of AMpdroid - which should use the same database - in fact this section shows up as completely empty. Also looks like this feature is not available at all in WebMP.

Any ideas? Apologies if I have missed something basic.
Thanks

Are you using the share view or the database view? Share view isn't supported by MPExtended and aMPdroid.

You can get the database to show up in WebMP under the movies tab, simply configure "MPVideos" as movies plugin on the settings page (but then you can't use MoPi/MyFilms with WebMP anymore).

Thanks Oxan, am using the share view, and you've explained the problem I've got. Wonder if there is a hack where I can read the share view into the database - maybe I can write my own bit of SQL to do this?

It's probably possible, but I don't know how.

if your videos saved on a network share, you have to use unc-path for them.

    for example:

    use not: "B:\Server\Share\Videos"
    use this: "\\Server\Share\Videos"
    or: "\\IP-Adress of your networkdrive\Share\Videos"
