How about a video capture device, not a "TV Tuner" board? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if there was any way I could get the software to recognize my SVID2USB2 video capture device.

I would like to connect it to my Satellite box, so a "tuner" wouldn''t be used in any case, but MP doesn't seem to detect the hardware.

Hi.
In general, all hardware encoding capture cards are supported by the TVServer. My guess is that your capture device has a software based encoder (which will chew your CPU). Getting a SW based card to work can be a real PITA (I got rid of my SW-card a long time a go), but it might help if you provided as much info about it as possible.

Wasn't even sure if the adapter could be used. But it's good to know that it may at least be possible.
