Just got MP running V1.0RC2 on XP pro SP3
Great piece of Software!
I am using the antev fusion V2 enclosure
And a harmony one.
I also setup MCE remote in MP

Some keys seem to work, volume up / down, and 4 arrow navigator buttons + OK
But most keys do not work and generate a NOT DEFINED message on the LCD:(
No stop, pauze play, ffwd rew, and so.

I read on another forum I should do a MCE roll over but that dos not install.
This is really driving me crazy:(

Anyone a solution for this??
Pleas help!

I confirm that the windows mce remote IR receiver works perfectly with an Harmony 885.
I just bought the Win MCE remote, I have just plugged the IR receiver (USB) in the PC, Vista recognizes it directly, and then I went online in the Logitech Harmony configuration interface, added Microsoft Media Center as device and then I added an activity "MediaCenter" that turn on the mediacenter and put the TV in the correct input channel, I saves the activity and then updated the remote. Last step: in mediaportal configuration, I tick the MCE remote.
That's all. It's working fine.

OK thay might work for vista and the original MCE remote.
It takes some more to get it working with just a compatible hardware etup.
But most of it is working now:)

    2BitSculptor,
Lots of people rave about the Harmony, but I have been reluctant to get it because of my rather exotic display. The website doesn't appear to allow any access to the library unless you already own a Harmony. I don't want to shell out a couple of hundred just to find that my display isn't supported. How can I find out, short of buying one?

I think you can check to see if the device is supported... I found this.

Thanks for the links, but they don't lead anywhere unless you download their SW and connect it to your Harmony (which I don't have).

sorry, I didn't notice that.... I went to their website, but they must have auto-logged me in unexpectedly.
I just went to the website, selected the 'Remotes' tab and in the sidebar there was an option under 'Testdrive' to check for compatibility.

Didn't find tabs or sidebars on the pages your links sent me to, but a Google search turned up this which claims that my InFocus TD40 is in their DB. This is still a long way from my idea of a "test drive" however.

    Hi,
This was a problem for me too, i didn't know if it supported my B&O system. It claimed that it should but you never know. I was lucky that i could deliver remote back to shop if it didn't, & guess what... It didn't support all functions so i had to rip rest of the remote codes & send it to them, but after a week i had support for all(TV, Video, DVD, Radio, light etc & of course MP ;) ).

So yes a bit frustrating that your not able to confirm it to work before using money on it......

    Regards
    Roy

    rsbrux,
If you want to know if your display Infocus TD40 is in the list of devices we can choose when configuring the remote, I can check in my Logitech account.
In any case, the Harmony 885 (the model I have) is able to learn IR commands, so in the worth case you can manually "teach" all the commands of your current TV remote to the logitech remote.
