That will do what you want to some extent as it keeps fullscreen video playing, and all osd's then become overlay, it should be auto enabled on install.



BTW if you have not already done it, MPI needs to be associated to the MPInstaller found in the program folder here C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

Excellent, I give that a try. It appears that it will do what I want and even more, which is a great bonus.

I tired the "background switcher" and it works a treat.
The only odd thing is that the Recordings screen is totally transparent which makes it a little hard to read. Apart from that, this plugin does exactly what I want. (Now to edit the skin to remove the now unneeded mini TV view from the EPG screen).
