How do I get windows over the top of TV? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone have a solution for my problem? I want to be able to see windows programs over the top of TV. At the moment I can only do this when the TV is stopped and not when there is TV/video playing.

You can run MP in windowed mode and disable always on top, and have the window beside what you are working on.

yeah not really what I was after - I use an alt tab context menu (web browsing, check email, paicasa etc) and I can't see that menu when media portal is playing TV.

It used to work thats what I don't get !!

I will try what you have suggested and also remove taskbar
