Is there any advanced logic in allocating recordings to cards or is it that a recording will simply be allocated to the next card based on priority that is capable of tuning to the required channel? I have dual DVB-T and a single DVB-S2 tuner, in config I have set the the DVB-S2 card in the middle which I believe should mean that one DVB-T tuner is the default for live TV and one is the default for recordings? Last night I had a weekly schedule record 21:00 to 22:00 on a channel that is DVB-T only. I then scheduled another recording 21:00 to 22:00 on a channel that is on all three tuners. Finally I scheduled a recording from 23:00 to ??? on a channel which is only on DVB-S2 tuner. Now obviously it is possible that all these recordings could work in parallel if records were assigned so that DVB-T1 - Weekly Schedule on terrestrial only channel DVB-S - Satellite only channel DVB-T2 - Other recording but I got the conflict screen pop up as the second recording (21:00 to 22:00) had been allocated to the DVB-S2 card. So (finally) my question is wherer this is working as it should (I believe it is given the order I added the recordings) and whether I can do anything about this? It would seem that if card allocation is re-calculated each time a recording is added it could avoid the situation above without much hassle??? I can see there is a conflict manager plugin in TV server but I am sure I have seen various references to this not working? If this does work when is it triggered? Does it re-analyse card allocation each time a new recording is added?
