So why was F10 chosen when it is a windows primary function key? And sadly it is a windows key that can not be changed, well easily.

With the context menu key that you can find on (almost) every Windows keyboard.

Sadly that key, by itself, does not register in the Flirc software, so can not be programed to function at all.

The problem is addressed in the next release. You can fix it at your side by replacing SkinEngine.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins\SkinEngine by the attached version (unzip it first). Shift-F10 will now open the context menu.
