I don't understand how tvguide.lst is supposed to work.

    Am I correct that

    (1) the file should list different tvguide.xml files
    (2) which can be named as per my liking and
    (3) which need to be stored in the same directory as the tvguide.lst file and
    (3) as soon as one of these xml files is updated, the EPG import is automatically triggered?

    Thx

    G.

Actually I noticed that changing the XML files would not trigger the update.
It seems that, changing the lst file itself triggers the update.
    Is that wanted behavior?

In 1.0.0 both the update of the xml-files and the update of the lst-file seems to triggers the update.

I've run in to problems when I update the xml-files and create the lst-file in the same operation, it looks like the importer tries to import everything twice and fails the second time - after it has deleted all entries... If I don't touch the lst-file and only updates the xml-files everything works as expected.

Can someone help me with this.

I have the tvguide.xml but can't find the .lst file????

I have enabled the path to c:\...\xmltv\tvguide.xml.

    Using free xmltv download.

Have unticked all the boxes in DVB EPG

Have ticked all the boxes in Tv server setup\xmltv - pressed import but nothing happening.

any help would be great cause I'm stuck.

If you only have a single tvguide.xml then you don't need to check "Import files in new tvguide.lst". This option is used when you have multiple tvguide.xml files (from different providers), in which case you have to create a text file named tvguide.lst and list all tvguide.xml pathnames in there.
Also make sure that you have a current version of xmltv.dtd in the same folder as your tvguide.xml file.
