    Hey thanks m0t0k0!
I am playing around a little bit with the settings...

This means I either get bit-streamed HD audio or I get my audio encoded as AC3.
I'm happy with this and I don't bother trying to upmix in FFDshow as it don't sound nice but my amp takes the AC3 2.0 and makes it sound nice anyway.
You're right, the sound is better that way. I was curious about upmixing but I couldn't get it to work reliably...
I will leave it to that for the moment.

Still cant get any graph programs to work but as I;m happy I probably wont pursue this but I think i may need to un-register and then re-register both proppage.dll and quartz.dll
Seems to be a reasonable approach. Didn't have any problems with quartz yet. Wouldn't want to miss graphedit, it makes figuring out issues much more convenient.

I tried playing with proppage and quartz last night and still cannot connect to the remote graph which is a pain. Works fine on my PC upstairs

Not sure if it helps or not but:

"I was trying to get graph studio to work but it just kept freezing and crashing ( I did have proppage.dll registered in my sysWOW64 folder)
I thought graph studio was the one to use with MePo or should I be using graph edit?"

Pretty sure i have had this before (but a long tie ago, so forgive the vagueness). MP is a 32 bit program and i think you also need to use the 32 bit version of Graphstudio, so using proppage.dll in the sysWOW64 folder is wrong, needs to be in the 32 bit folder (program files). graphstudio is the correct program, graphedit is the order version (i think)

The SAF codec pack is very good at setting all these things up, graphstudio works and if you tell it during setup you are using HD audio it will set that up as well. (I know some people do not like using packs but personally this one works very well)

    Cheers

    Si

I made graphedit work. I looks like I had a 64bit version of proppage.dll registered in SysWoW64 as after I unregistered it and registered the 32bit version everything worked as expected :)

I think I tried SAF in the past but I'm happy with LAV and a little FFDshow just a little twaeking is need and I know what I'm working with.
Looked at the SAF page and it seems to be using Haali and not LAV? is this right? I much prefer LAV

Looks pretty good. Will keep an eye on it

For now I'm happy with LAV doing everything with just a little FFdshow post processing.
I especially like the way LAV is updated via the MePo extension updater

Great that you sorted it out! Will keep it in mind in case I will run in the same problem... :)
