How to debug crash in MePo 1.7 probably caused by plugin (1 Viewer)

Is aero enabled on your computer ? I noticed I don't have this stutter issue with aero disabled.
So I can :
- disable areo
- or disable Dynamic Refresh rate changer

What was the goal of this FixDwm exactly ?

I think to avoid crash.
Maybe the change has to be made with win8 only.

The change fixed myAnime3 crash in win7 too, it's ok for me without refresh rate changer

I had the issues on Win 7 before switching to Win 8 as well.
As Win 8 does not have Aero anymore, this possibly explains why I have no stutter (hard to reproduce, though)

Ok Guys,

So i can disable FixDwm only when it's Win8 and then like now we catch the eventual issue (by adding a try/catch + error in log), we can see the cause of error.

Win8 has Aero (i think) but it's not like before
Win7 has it for sure and FixDwm method is call after refresh rate.

Pour KwizatZ I will supply bin against 1.8.0 Pre release to renable it but with error catch, can you retry and submit log ?

I tested your Core.dll and I don't have stuttering issues anymore (with dynamic refresh rate enabled).
There is also no more crash on anime resume in myAnme3, and here are the only logs I get after anime resume:

Did you always get the crash with normal dll ?
Because right now in log, i didn't see error one lol, also it seems that you use FFDShow DXVA and crash can be related but not sure but i remember that i have get some issue.

If you use it for subtitle, you can always use LAV Video with DXVA/Intel/CUVID with ffdshow video decoder as post process.

Can you post full log ?

So it mean FixDWM isneeded for Win7 but not anymore on Win8.
