    Hi,

I got the exact same problems as you. I can only see 1/4 of the picture on Ramasjang, Folketinget etc. DR HD is working properly with CoreAVC - even though I have some problems with MP freezing when I am zapping away from DR HD and over to one of the other new channels.

I am also in the situation that I suddenly doesn't receive the same signal quality from the old channels as I did before (DR1, DR2, TV2). Before the quality was around 95% - now it's between 20 and 40% with at lot of stuttering as a result. I live in Kolding and receive from the Hedensted antenna.

It will follow in danish :)

    -Brian

    Hej,

    -Brian

    Hi again,

Now after ajusting my roof antenna 5 cm to southeast everything is now working without stuttering. And after zapping through all the channels MP is no longer crashing and Ramasjang, Folketinget and the other channels are also full screen.

    -Brian

Got it working with DivX 7:)

It takes a bit time to change and sometimes picture is messed up when you are changing channel. But after 5-10 seconds it corrects itself.

    Tak drenge! :D

I have solved the problem for channels only being broadcasted in SD-format (DR update, ramasjang etc.) where they appear in 1/4 of the screen. In core avc config you have to choose "Deinterlacing: Hardware" and "Deblocking: Standard".

My problem regarding DR HD atm. is that after 10mins of watching the picture/subtitles are some milisecs after the sound. If i pause and play on the channel the problem is fixed for another 10mins, very annoying :p

I too have trouble with some mpeg4 channels (new DVB-T channels including one in HD started broadcasting in Denmark 1. of november) and mediaportal. I sure hope some one can help since the WAF is really low atm ;)

Using SAF4beta20 and powerdvd9 all mpeg4 channels starts with choppy picture, sound is normal. Sometimes the stutter disappears after a while but can return seconds or minutes later - seems very random to me. DVB-T mpeg2 and DVB-S/S2(HD) channels work flawlessly.

Using CoreAVC codec the stutter is gone but sound and picture is out of sync almost immidiately and worsens over time. Channel zapping sooner or later leads to MP crashing.

When previewing channels in the TV-server setup interface everything seems to be working smootly and in sync.

Using my Samsung Tvs built in tuner works flawlessly so signal should be fine. Tried MP 1.1 without succes.

I have besides my living room HTPC running the TV Server two clients connected. 1 atom aspire revo and a core duo 2.6 ghz with nvidia gt 9600 - both clients show same symptoms as living room HTPC.

Logs provided, last viewed channel almost becomes stutter free for a short while but then goes bananas again.

I think i have solved the problem where the picture and sound are out of sync. If you use coreavc for h.264 codec. Go into the config of coreavc and choose Force VMR AR correction: OFF.
Seems to work for me for me, atleast i havnt had any problems for the last couple of hours

Edit: the out of sync came back. although it took very long time for it to come. :(

    Hello Dazzle

I tried your solution and zapped trough all channels, it worked, but only if you dont close MP.
I dont think it is practical to be forced to zap through all channels every time you restart MP.
Also it still crashes when I am watching DR HD and then change channel.
You still have luck just by turning your antenna?

    One more thing.
Do any of you recieve EPG data for the new channels?

If any Dane is look in here, I did update the frequence table to include all the MUX (1 to 5) on the Hove transmitter.

When I scan for channels in Mediaportal it only finds the MPEG2 channels. My new MPEG2/MPEG4 SD/HD TV finds also the G-TV channel that is using MPEG4.

What do I need to do in Mediaportal in order to get it to find the MPEG4 and later HD channels?

I had the same problem and read a tip somewhere to choose "Finland" when doing the scan. That will scan more frequencies including the new Danish freq. Worked just fine for me

    Regards,
    Kenneth

    Hi Rasle500

I will give it a try once more this evening and let you know. MP have only crashed one time since the change - but I will try to see if I can get it to crash deliberately.

My signal is perfect for the new channels, but for the old DR1, DR2 and TV2 it is around 50-70 percent. Before 1st of November it was near 100 percent.

I receive EPG data for all the new channels without any problems.

You should find the antenna you are using on this chart:
www.digitalt.tv satellit, kabel og antenne-tv nyheder, guides, forum mm.

Then do a "manual scan" on the frequencies you need on your location. This will only take a few seconds.

You need one scan for the MPEG2-channels (MUX1), one for the MPEG4-channels (MUX2) and three scans for Boxer channels (MUX3, 4 and 5). These can be skipped if you don't have a sunscribtion anyways.

Example; I live in Hornslet near Århus, and the Hadsten antenna is closest to me. Therefore I need to scan for these:

    Code:
    514 Hhz

    658 MHz

    858 MHz

    754 MHz

    746 MHz

You enter the values as Hz, so 514 MHz is entered as 514000.

    Hi Rasle500,

I have now tried to zap through my channels including DR HD and could not get MP to crash. I have furthermore implemented the CoreAVC fix mentioned by Zator: In core avc config you have to choose "Deinterlacing: Hardware" and "Deblocking: Standard"

So in my setup everything seems to function except that they must have regulated the transmission effekt downwards or something since my signal is significantly lower than before. (I'm using the Hedensted Antenna).

    Regards

    Brian
