how to i scan channels from 2nd tuner? (1 Viewer)

i have two tuners. i was wondering how do i scan the other two card ? also if i am record a show from the first tuner can i still watch other show from the second tuner or not.

if i scan channel from the second card , will it crash MyTV from it?

    If the channels are going to be the same for both cards, then just scanning as per the original card is not going to cause any problems.

    If you have a lot of manually configured channels and you wish those to work on the other card, you will have to add the channels under TV Mapping.

    i want to know if i can record a show and use the other card for watch tv? can i do that or not?

    If the two tuners are totaly independant and not hybrid/shared then once channels are mapped to the correct tuners then the TVSERVER handles this automaticaly.

    So if tuner one is active timeshifting live and/or recording then tuner two will be used if the channel selected is available to it.

    The set up is important, so make sure mapped channels are correct and your scan/manual channels are complete.

    i guess that mean that i have to rescan the channel for the second tuner card and not mapped on it .
