Hard to tell from your question what you are trying to get working. What type of signals are you trying to use? Over The Air (antenna) ATSC? Cable Clear QAM? What version of MePo 1.7.1? Hopefully @mm1352000 the kiwi TV Server wizard will be around later in the day (New Zealand time) and take a look.

You also need to add log files and a description of what you trying to do when you had problems. There is a sticky message at the top of each message forum with info on adding log files. see "include logs" in the following "Don't forget to include Logs and fill in System Specs for Support!"

Looks like you have no TV channels:
    [2014-05-02 08:40:06,918] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - get channels from database
    [2014-05-02 08:40:07,048] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - found:0 tv channels

...and so you won't be able to turn on TV.

    Did you find this?
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...rver_Configuration/02_TV_Servers/7b_Scan_ATSC

It explains the recommended options based on what type of signal you're trying to receive.

My guess is that if you're wanting to receive clear QAM (cable) you're going to need to use the DVB-C tuner "EyeTV Hybrid ClearQam Tuner", not the ATSC tuner. Why Elgato have made the tuner a DVB-C tuner instead of an ATSC tuner I don't know. This means you'll need to create DVB-C tuning details, much like this guy did:

Sorry, I don't have time to explain in more detail - about to leave for the day. I'll be back tomorrow if you're still stuck.

Jim, the Zap2it link doesn't give enough info create an XML file for your area. If I were you I'd take the QAM standard file and convert it to a DVB-C file... so that's what I've done for you.
Please download and save the attached file into c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbc\. Note that really is ProgramData not Program Files. ProgramData is a hidden folder, so you'll need to either copy and paste (or type) that path into the address bar in Windows Explorer or enable viewing of hidden and system files and folders (Windows Explorer setting) in order to get there.

After you do that, you should be able to start TV Server configuration, select "5 DVB-C EyeTV Hybrid ClearQam Tuner, select "USA" as country and "QAM Standard" as region/provider then hit scan.

The scan may take up to 30 minutes, which might make you think it isn't working and stop it early... especially if channels are not being found. However, please be patient and let the scan run to completion. Hopefully by doing that your channels will be picked up and you'll be able to watch TV etc. etc. etc.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions. :)

Sorry for the delay to reply... I did everything but I still do not see any channels. It found about 10 when I scanned though when I tried to view those nothing appears. Jim
