You can find your custom mapping in the "InputDeviceMappings\custom" folder. You can share that one with your friend. Place it in the same directory on his machine.

Just a note: You might add it here on the forum as an attachment to a thread (maybe in Tips & Tricks), so other users with the same remote can also use it. This forum has a nice attachment feature. ;)

Thx a lot for all your help.

Certainly I will post my mappings for others. I have set them only in a basic setup and will overwork it several times. Is there a complete list of settings how the buttons should be set up? Or can I copy the settings from one button to another in the configuration?

For example the "ENTER" button: On my remote it is MTLeft. There are several conditions to implement. It would be nice to move them from original place to MTLeft. It seems to me that I have to add them manually, am I right? ;)

BTW: Is it possible to use the remote with Mptray so that I can start the MP with the green button? I have the option "Minimize MP to tray when exit" checked if it helps ;)

Regards,
Buffo

Not really. You might want to have a look how the other remotes are mapped.

Currently the only way to copy settings from one button to the other is doing that manually in the resulting XML file in your "custom" folder.

Did you upload your config? I have the same remote http://www.x10europe.com/pdf/OR22E-23E.pdf,
I installed the medion driver from the link in the MP config, now the some keys work on every second keypress, the rest is dead  .
Would be handy to have a working config file ;).

edit: The second keypress issue was a driver problem. The keys are now named and mapped to the right codes in my config. I still have to figure out a good assignment in MP.

After 4 Years my account is still here and the thread reminder works ?
I don't have the config anymore. With the new MP Versions I used a Wireless mouse (Gaming Upgrade for the Media PC), After having Problems with Win7 64Bit , I switched to Windows Media Center. So at the moment, I can't help you guys with MP, sorry.
