I've just received my Floppy DTV DVB-C tv card. I'm trying to setup TV-server but I can't get a signal (I think).
In tvserver config, when I scan for channels through "scan predefined provider" (Netherlands, Ziggo/casema) I get the status (in red):
1pt 300000 Mod64QAM 6875: No Signal
2pt 340000 Mod64QAM 6875: No Signal
etc..
When I do a manual scan with the following settings:
Frequnetie: 372000
Modulation: 64 QAM
Symbolrate: 6875
I get status:
Scan freq. 372000 Mod64Qam symbolrate: 6875
Scan done, found 0 transponders
I've tried to test the card in FireDTV viewer, when I scan for channels the signal bar stays empty and no channels are found (at least i get no message or see any thing out of the ordinary).
Things I've done:
- The internal antenna cable of the floppydtv card is still connected. Cannot test if this cable is broken or not. But why should it be broken, never used it before.
- I've tested the cable which connects the card the the tv network (which was pluged into my setop box with great signal quality) and it still works on my setop box. So the cable has a signal on it.
- Don't know which side of the smartcard must go up in the alphacrypt cam. Tried booth ways. (which should it be? chip on smartcard facing alphacrypt sticker or other way arround)
Anyone recognise the problem? Or maybe a suggestion to solve the issue?
