    Hey,
glad to be of service :)
No I didn't get the mouse to work. I had a quick look at it but as I don't need the function I didn't want to look closer.
I tried your hint with putting the xml in the program data folder. Didn't work out. Every time I put it there and open the config it will be purged.
Do you have the same behaviour?

Great job! After playing for two days with this remove under HIP, EventGhost, IntelliRemote, etc. etc. and being about ready to throw it away I stumbled upon your solution and it works like a charm. So I am back on the wagon... This remote actually is of good hardware quality and its problem is with the terrible driver implementation. You have gone a long way fixing it. Thank you!

One suggestion -- this project will really benefit a lot if the mouse event generation if fixed...

    Thanks again!

    Updated.

Hm I see that the remote is not always fast. After a reboot it seems fine, but after some time I only get about 2 commands/sec. Anyone knows more about that?

    Hey,
Do you have the same behaviour?

Yeah, sorry for my wrong reply then :)

I installed the hama remote like dedi described. The remote works mostly very good, but sometimes i have the problem that when i want tu use one of the coloured buttons, the TV - screen get black (connection between TV and HTPC is not working), but the HTPC is always running. Then i have to go into standby and after standby everything is ok.

Maybe somebody has the same problems and can help me.

hi, i followed the instruction in first thread.

Eventghost tells me, everything is fine (newest Version),

but in MP nothing is working. Also app crashes when iam in config and try to change the settings of the messageplugin.

Is there any problem with the messageplugin and the newest MP Version 1.1.1.0?

    THX

    EDIT: Using win7 32 bit

You can't config the message plugin via GUI because of added stuff. You probably have to edit it in a text editor. The original message plugin should work without a crash, but it will have some missing keys.

Animal87: did you use the link given for downloading eventghost? it's a special beta, not via the usual homepage downloadable.
