Synopsis: MediaPortal.exe still crashes at start up, but I can now navigate w/remote in MP, beyond the main screen!
For some reason "Channel" in My TV is now greyed out and I can only see one channel.
Disabled EPG in Configuration.exe, but I couldn't select EPG "Select none" in MP.

when you say you coudnt select the select none button do you mean you couldnt find it or you couldnt click on it as it was inactive.. or because MP crashed.. if so deactivate the Hauppauge remote... change the settings... then reactivate the remote and try....

Deactived the remote and was able to see all the channels under EPG and select the "none" button. Reactived the remote and restared MP but it crashed again.

Is it only HVR-1300 that have these problems or is it with other Hauppage cards as well?

Not sure, but I think the remote issue is just HVR-1300.

HVR-1300 remote working

Just to let you know. It is possible to get the remote that the HVR-1300 comes with to work. I have it working on RC2. I even use the blaster functionalty to control my sattelite-decoder box.

This remote worked well in RC1 also. As far as I remember I didn't do anything special to get it working. I just selected to use that remote in the MP setup.

If you need more info just post back with the info you need.

PS. I also have the bitrate-problem. It uses about 2 Gb / hour for recording no matter what setting is used.
