Some new interesting phenomena: With Hauppage remote enabled it still crashes but now the error message is hidden behind MP. Remote seems to work but MtTV don't.

Media Portal crashes with Haupagee Remote enabled. Unable to watch TV as it seems impossible to enable TV. With previous CVS the error message was in front of MP, now it's behind MP and remote seems to be working.

guys the problem seems to be that for some reason the Hauppauge remote support on a few select systems seems to be crashing the sqllite DB... hence the reason you get no tv.

it would be good if there was some common ground between you all... other than your tv card as we know one other user with a Nova-t that has the problem too... could you try and see if there is any common ground?

I don't know if a Swedish XP can be an issue? Also, I use NAV 2002 as my A/V program if that can cause trouble. I also have a lousy PCI video card as my computer don't have any AGP slots.


With the latest CVS I tested (01-18 I think it was) there were no characters at all in MP when I selected English language(I.E no My TV, My Videos and so on), just blank rows. With Swedish the characters were there. It crashed with the remote enabled in both cases though.
