HVR-1600 dvb issues (2 Viewers)

So this is pretty sweet stuff only one major issue i have now is my card worked on other software where i could record and watch something else. and i cant seem to figure out how to do it on here

im only useing the Digital side of the card no analog. am i missing something

I've moved your thread to the MediaPortal TV support section - I hope you don't mind. We'd expect your tuner to allow you to simultaneously view or record all the channels from a single frequency. If you are having trouble getting it to work or you think your tuner is not behaving as expected then please post your logs so that we can work with you to identify what is going on. Use the watchdog to grab your logs - it'll make both your job and ours easier:

1. Find the "debug mode" link in the "Team MediaPortal" folder in your start menu.
2. Start it.
3. Select option 3 "export all currently present logs".
4. Click "proceed". A zip file containing the information that we need will be created on your desktop.
5. Post the zip file here.

There is more information about this procedure in the wiki page for the watchdog, so check there first if you get stuck.

everything seems to be working fine i recorded something but while it was recording it wouldnt let me watch anything else no errors.

acts like the tuner is only letting 1 thing to be watched/recorded but let me try that debug for u and see what happens

recorded one show and try to watch another just says no tuner available and then locks up on a commercial

From the logs, looks like you tried to watch (at the same time as recording COMEDY):

FX = different frequency, no can do
LMN = same frequency, should work
COMEDY = same channel, should work

Can you confirm what did and didn't work there?
