TV - HTPC Connection: HDMI
I have 7 QAM channels that work most of the time. However, there are times when I receive a no signal message when choosing a channel map to the HVR-1600. Here is a scenario:
I choose channel 706 and it says no signal. Then I choose 704 and the channel comes on. I then return to channel 706 and it works. I can deal with this when watching live TV, however, this happens when I am recording from the HVR-1600. So when I go and look for the recorded program it is not there because the HVR-1600 did not "turn on".
I am wondering if the card is shutting down and not responding to MP's request. Is there a setting that keeps the TVServer in constant connection to the card or send a "wake-up" command to the card before recording?
