HVR-2250 Setup (1 Viewer)

Trying to set up an old HVR-2250 card I have. I used BeyondTV for years, but I remember getting MediaPortal to work with this card.
I've tried everything I could find online, but it will never find any channels when I scan.
I can use the WinTV app and view all of the channels just fine.


Does anybody have a step by step guide on setting this up from the start?
Let me know what I need to post, and I can give whatever info

try switching "Preferred Network Provider" to "generic", see the following forum message.
