I can't find any channel (1 Viewer)

1. TV Card Type: Analog
1. TV Card Driver: 1.0.2.7
MPEG2 Video Codec: Intervideo Encoder
MPEG2 Audio Codec: Intervideo Encoder


Hi after I have read this site, guide, Wiki and forums I still have problem to find channel for my TV card

I have follow this

becurse what I understand I dont have any H/W decoder on my Pinnacle PCTV Bt848/878

I have install Intervideo so I can see the decoder in the list.
I can see my TV card in the TV-server Configuration

TV server>My computers name>1 Analog Ounnacle WDM PCTV analog Tuner
and that is enable

I select
Contry: Sweden
Source: Cable (Have cable-TV)
Sensitivity: medium (Have even try low and high)
and push the button "Scan for TV channel"
But my card can't find any channel at all

Pinnacle own program "PCTV vision" can find my channel

after I have try this now in two days I have no idea what I can do

Hi,
You need to attach logs from TV Server so we can see whats up.

Please update to latest SVN so we can get the correct logs(yeah there was a bug in RC1 release which is fixed )

Seems like you don't have a Encoder which works with TV-Server & TV Card or did you install one & which?

I have install Intervideo Encoder (have even Cyberlink Encoder and Nero Encoder but I use Intervideo encoder)

Hi, I have a similar setup (with Pinnacle PCTV Pro) and identical problem. The channel scan fail and I get no channels at all. With Dscaler, however, I get all channels without problems.

I can't find Pinnacle PCTV Pro in the list of supported analog TV cards. Is this why it won't work?

Hi

I have now reinstall my htpc and so even the mediaportal. I have install and upgrade with the latest SVN and I have install PowerDVD so the htpc have the MPEG2 encoder.

I have now attache a new log from my Mediaportal.


The only problem I have now is I can't find any TV channel and now I can't find "Encoder filter" in my mediaportal configuration
