I must be stupid...I cannot get EPG to work (1 Viewer)

Did you see my edited message before you posted? If not...here it is again...

Just had a follow up question before I get really involved this weekend...

Off the top of your head, would you say MP2 will be better & easier to use than MP1? Will the steps of getting the EPG loaded be the same?

And lastly...in either MP1 or MP2...will the EPG update automatically, or will I have to manually do it every so often?

    I have 3+ years of MP1 hands on experience, but very little time with MP2 so I don't have a valid opinion. The main EPG options should be about the same, but I have not done much with it.

    The setup guide shows how to enable WebEPG auto-update so you can run it every late night etc.

    Ok, great, thank you! I'm going to give MP2 a try since it's going to be the newer version. Due to the learning curve here with the other members of the house, it may be the better route since it will be new from the start, rather than leaving Windows Media Center, training how to use MP1, then later down the road upgrade to MP2 & train how to use that! LOL
