is this correct bahaviour?
1:/ recording is about to start
2:/ no pmt is recieved
3:/ recording starts anyway, not trying to recieve pmt again or switching cards!!
4:/recording fail -

Yep you get a empty ts file, we get this with some of the UK shared channels, so if you try recording BBC3 which programs start broadcasting of a evening at 7pm, and have a 5 minute pre-record, it will fail with empty file as the transmission does not start for that channel until 6.58pm, so if you have a 2 minute pre-record then all works well.

This should be changed, so that it re attempts to lock signal every 15-30 seconds, not just fails and gives nothing as a result.
