Moving Pictures doesn't ask.

It is not convenient, and not always right. I used it only for a week. MyVideo in my opinion is better in all respects.

After so many years using MP with Moving Pictures, and only using MyVideos for playing video clips and music videos, I just recently found MyVideos was so much more. I've now cataloged my movie collection in Videos.

I made sure my grabber scripts were updated; checked Use "Sort Title"... and Remove Prefix. Did not check Use internal nfo scraper.
Did not check Strip title prefix. I reset my database and then Updated Database...
No effect. All Sort Titles were identical to the id/Title.

What did I miss?

I have now done a search and delete of all .nfo files and am re-scanning. .. it will take a bit.

Prefix is removed correctly after scanning new movie when no .nfo is present in movie folder. There is no change to Sort Title if .nfo is already present, as in refreshing existing files (after .nfos were created). Remedy, if needed, is to search and batch delete .nfos, which is not a big task.

Can option be added to list prefixes to operate on? (as in Strip title prefix on Scan tab in config)

A single mechanism is used, so the list of Prefixes is single.
