Hi Can you recheck the categories? Because the new movies are added with English categories and no Spanish on my case.

    I assume you mean 'Genres'.

The Spanish genre translation system is in place. Are you sure that secondary language Spanish is selected in IMDb+ options?

Provide me with your movingpictures.log file please that contains the log info for when you imported a movie that ended up using English rating.

Awesome plugin! Makes my movie listing complete!

Though I do have an question, a lot of movies start with "The", The Matrix, The Notebook ect. Is it possible to place "The" on the end of the movie name? Like "Matrix, The" and "Notebook, The".

    Thank you.

The article removal always worked automatic, as MovPic plugin itself took care of it. Unfortunatly one of the recent MovPic updates broke that part. My only recourse is adding a seperate "Article Removal" system into the IMDb+ plugin, but that has been a pain to find free time for me to work on.

In the meantime, you can copy all the "A...", "The....", etc entries from "Rename dBase IMDb+ Scraper.xml" and change them to either remove "A/An/The/etc" or to add a sortby="..." to match your article removal settings. Dirty workaround, but it works.

    Scraper script v4.9.18 released

    - Re-issue to see if it will fix auto-update for some users

Not sure what happened, but some users did not get v4.9.17, so lets see if this fixes it.

Looking more carefully I found that somehow the plugin changed the configuration to English. I should happen when I upgraded to the latest version of mediaportal.
    Now is working ok.
    Thanks.

    Scraper script v4.9.19 released

    - Quick fix to deal with swap of title/country for foreign users code

Will have to look at the other code later, but the main code fix is in place to make English titles work for non-USA users of IMDb+.

    Hey,
as you have made some changes to your scraper in the last time, i thought i would do some tests aswell if everything is working now.
I read through the changelog and did not find anything about original titles. And my test confirmed that when choosing original title instead of english title that i still get german titles. So i am right to asume that you have not attempted to fix this, right?

If you wish 'original title' to work the way it does for USA users of IMDb+, then you need to find yourself a USA proxy for the time being. I've received a lot of log files from a German IMDb+ user, and I might be able to figure out a way to show the original tiles for non-USA users, but as it stands you have to disable that option if you want English titles. Amazon keeps changing the IMDb HTML source code structure and ontop of that makes it different depending on the language and location of the user. If they were consistent, then it wouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately they are all over the place.

    Stay tuned though...

    Scraper script v4.9.20 released

    - Updated all the RegExps for English title detection to match the new Amazon/IMDb style

Everything should be back to normal now. Provided you:

    a) have a USA IP
    b) keep your fingers crossed that Amazon stops changing their HTML code
    c) Murphy's law stays away

For non-USA users, things should be reasonably 'ok' again as well. At least if you want to always get the English titles. Just be sure to leave the "use original title" setting disabled then. Since the "(original title)" string on the IMDb site for non-USA users isn't always the 'Actual non-English original title', but can also be the 'English title that was translated', it is not possible to use the info from just the details page, or the AKA page individually. I have to combine the infro from those two pages. The way IMDb+ works that is easier said then done, as it means new RegExp code and a lot of additional logic. At least it is not the same as the full rewrite that is still planned, but will take me time nonetheless.
