Suggested change to 1920 x 1080 home screen

How?

It's just a suggestion, i don't know how it can be achived.

Someone has modified home screen to the following Weather info in top right corner

Changed MP-TVSeries logos back to the old style ones.
You can now change the MP-TVSeries views again ;-).
Added audio and video codec images to video OSD.
Updated GlobalSearch, Moving Pictures, MP-TVSeries, MyEmulators, MyTrailers and ShowTimes plugin support.
Added My Frustration support and created new gfx in line with skin style.
Fixed alignment on day 4 label in My Weather.

Do you mean they are shown when you bring up now playing information while watching a video?

Cool, that works nicely. Apart from... I've now lost the logos from the normal tv series view. I'm using the default wide banner view and they've all disappeared.

OK, I see what happened. In the tvskinsettings xml file, the import logos section was set as true, so it removed all my rules and changed them to point at monochrome\media\logos, which obviously is wrong as this skin is indigo.

Also, I just noticed a funny oddity. I'm watching back a tv recording from bbc news for a show called click. Instead of showing the bbc news logo when I bring up on the OSD, it's showing the logo for the film Click which I have in my film datbase! Have tried playing back other recordings and I get no channel logo under the OSD.

Thanks for the update Psycho Reptile - this is my favourite skin!

I would love to have the ability to change the TV Series layout from within the skin, as is possible with MP-TVSeries v2.1.3331. Bleazle has implemented this on his skin, and it works perfectly.

Speaking of images presented in the OSD, I was wondering if this could be done... sent to me from a buddy of mine (he told me had done some copy/pasting). I guess it would be nice to see the otherwise empty spot filled with the "first logo" in your logo rules.

Agreed. I use the Bluesilver logos (they go great with Indigo) from the TVSeries page. They are in higher resolution and gives that "clean look" when it's enlarged (in contrary to the logos that come with Indigo/Monochrome).

Btw, I'm really glad PR went with the old logo design... I really hate the 2.5 ones..
