Problem description:

Information ticker on the left (below small preview screen) is partly visible.

For example:
- start MP
- click on Music item in main menu
- choose a track list to play
- in screen:
-- on the right the list with MP3 tracks
-- left preview screen (with image of artist or visualization images)
-- below the preview screen a ticker

This tickers position is to low, so it is partly visible. Like the time indication to the right of it.

My screen properties:
- display = CRT television
- 800 x 600
- scart
- font size = 120
- Blue Two skin - not the wide screen version (v 0.2.3.0)

The previous version of MP had no problems

- I remove MP 0.2.2.0 by using the control panel
- i did not remove the whole directory, so the new installed 0.2.3.0 RC inherited some settings

I always use a "work around, described here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/screen_ratios_give_black_picture-t15551.html?t=15551

1) Because I am using this work around I tried this:
- removed ScreenCalib*.xml files
- started MP and did a new test
- ticker was still partly visible

2) I tried to mmove the screen by doing a Setup in MP
- started MP
- ran Setup menu item
- moved the screen up
- click on Music item in main menu
- choose a track list to play
- in screen:
-- below the preview screen the ticker: better visible. But if I move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen I see the "button bar" is partly visible

So: ticker was visible in previous version. What is the difference after introducing/installing the RC1 version?

I found this out: there is a difference between BASS engine and the other engine.

In the previous version of MP the "Internal DShow Player" engine was my default.

1) When I choose "Internal DShow Player" the screen looks OK
2) When I choose the BASS engine the ticker is to low (I can not read the text, see only the top of the scrolling text". So this needs some 'fine tuning' of the layout.

    Hi,
If this bug it's because of your windows fontsize = 120 it should not be posted here, MP could be supporting this in one or another way in the future, but not for now.
When using nvidia card to crt theres always some overscan & could be the reason for missing @ bottom, it works fine here with same resolution as you & out to a crt, but i had to use screencalibration because of overscan......

    Regards
