the easy way is to disable the UAC in windows... Just run msconfig and go to tools... then it should install just fine...

You just need to disable UAC for the installation of TVServer and run Setup with an Admin-Account. After the installtion you can enable UAC and you can also use TVServer as normal user without admin rights. Tested on Vista 64 bit.

In Manual Control i had a server crash after a channel selection directly after the installation. I did restart my computer and then i could change the channels in TVServer without any problems.

Client not tested now.

For any MSI package:

1. Right mouse click the package, select "Create Shortcut".
2. Right mouse click the shortcut, select "Properties".
3. In the "Shortcut" tab -> "Target" box, insert "msiexec /i " to the beginning of the text (space after "/i").
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
5. Right mouse click the shortcut, select "Run as Administrator".

This way, you do not have to turn off UAC.
