Installing FireDTV S2 card (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I am trying to to install MediaPortal with my FireDTV S2 card. Installation OK but setting up TV MediaPortal finds only my card as DTV T card, so I cannot fill in settings like LNB, DisqC etc.
What am I doing wrong?

if you used the MCE BDA Drivers than deinstall it and use the normal BDA driver

the MCE BDA driver have a mapper included that mapps dvb s / dvb c frequencies to dvb t frequencies

Kay,

I did what you told me and now the card is correctly found but in the setup installation wizard the wizard is stucked after the programm says I found the card.
When I push the "next" button the programm is not running further to setup the configuration of the card.

Do you mean in MediaPortal or somewhere else? Which MediaPortal version? Do you use the TV Server?

S2 needs TVServer, it does not work with MyTV..

Thank you, I read that in the forum!
I am a newbe so maybe someone can tell what settings I need in the scanning screen. I have good signal and quality and want to scan Astra 19.2.
I have a fixed lnb
I tried to scan but cannot find any channels.
