This seem to be a perfect MePo Client, just add ram and disk and your good to go. I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these!
Core i3, Intel HD4000, HDMI 1.4a and so on :)

Anyone here already have it or any info on why to get or not to get?

It is actually not too bad what Intel offers there. You would get a cpu which is sufficiently strong for normal mp
operations, a graphic chipset which will meet all requirements (at least for single monitor use) and on top this would
be quite power efficient too (tdp of the cpu 17W, external power supply 65W).
On the other hand you could get a system with a G630T cpu and a graphic card which would give you the same
but for less money. And it could then have passive cooling or at least a more sophisticated active cooling than the
out of the box version intel is coming up with.
One good point though is the size of this nuc thing..
To sum it up it's size and the out of the box feeling for intels nuc versus price and silent cooling for a individually
    created system.

What other options do I have? I'm not really interested in getting a PC in parts that I have to assemble, I've gotten to lazy in my old age.

Other good things are minimal assembly, add ram add disk - done.
And delivered with vesa mounting bracket so you can easily fit it on back of tv (unless your tv are wall mounted)..

Abolutely correct from your point of view. As I am not afraid of building my own
pc I would defenitely compare prices. I did a quick check and ended up with appr.
360€ with 4gb ram and a 64gb ssd. Add an ir receiver and a new cooler fan
(if replaceable) and you would stay below 400€. Not a very cheap offer but with
everything on board and there are worse offers on sale...

    Upside

    Good hardware
    Easy assemle
    Form factor

    Downside
    Active cooling
    No IR

    Did I miss anything?
