Hi Marvman

First thanks for the excellent development.

Even Viewmode Switcher is working fine for me, it doesn't seem to be under development anymore and some features (e.g. 4:3 HD cutting) are missing for me. I have tested IFC but I am not able to configure the plugin to my needs. I hope you can give me a hint, as my requirements are simple:

I have a 16:9 screen.
1) If the AR is 4:3 use "Super Stretch" mode
2) If the AR is 4:3 and letterbox is detected (16:9 picture in 4:3) then use "Zoom" mode
3) If the AR is 16:9 and you have black bars on the right&left (4:3 picture in HD) then crop left and right bars and use "Super Stretch" mode
4) For all other formats use "Normal" mode

    Hi Hirscho,

    try the folling configuration.

    4:3 -> Stretch
    16:9 -> Zoom
    21:9 -> Normal
    4:3 in 16:9 -> Stretch

    It doesn't exist a special zoom mode for 4:3 with black bars, but i'll think about it.
    Though this configuration should be fine for you.

    Thanks and regards.
    Martin

    Thank you for your understanding

    Just tried out 0.9.2.1 - with black bar detection disabled the high CPU spikes are now gone - thank you very much Martin :)

    BTW, how does the plugin detect HD (versus SD) content ?

    Good morning Tony,

    your welcome.

    HD is detected only when the video has a hight above 600 lines, but i would prefer to detect the x264 or similar codec instead, cause this use more cpu time. But i wait until some one complain about it :)

    Back to your previous problem, the latest version show me, that the CPU spikes came from the mp frame grabber and not from the plug in, right?
