Interest in North America XM Radio/Sirius internet plugin? (2 Viewers)

Has there been any further progress done on this Plugin? I was PRAYING for an XM Plugin for MP. And the screenshot made me drool. LOL!

I'm willing to test it. :/ I am an XM subscriber and I use XM Online every day. (By the way rob3435, XaMp Studio is amazing... I adore the new program. I only use it for XM202, but my wife uses it for all the other channels... lol )

Anyway, is there anything on this? Like I said, I'm a subscriber of XM, and I'm willing to help test.

The plugin has been working for some time, at least I am using it w/ 0.2.0.4

+1 for interest in Sirius Radio streaming. While they have that stinking CAPTCHA, their "premium player" is an ActiveX control. I wonder if that can be harnessed...

It seems someone has already figured out a way to get by the CAPTCHA's and has written a standalone player (as well as a plugin for WMP and MSN Messenger)

Perhaps the author may be able to offer some assistance in how he automatically derived the CAPTCHA's however.

Unfortunately I have no programming skills whatsoever, so for me to ask it would be pointless as the answer I'd get back wouldn't mean anything.

The author may also be interested in porting his work to be a plugin for MP.

Think there is anyway to get the source code for this plugin? There are a few channels missing that I'd like to hear but aren't listed. I know it's been a while since anyone posted about this plugin but it's worth a shot!

Sorry Flaystus, Just noticed your post.

I've since moved on to 0.2.3.0 rc1 (+ some random svn) and don't use this anymore.

The audio system has changed quite a bit from 0.2.2.0/4 to today's 0.2.3.0's, last i checked my quick hack isn't working for 0.2.3.0's and the album art isn't correctly connecting to amazon.. I wish I had more time..

Anyways Here is a link to the original copy with source code i had laying around for my 0.2.2.4 hack. (i have lots of bandwidth so these's will stay up)

I'd attach the source code, but as i said in a previous post it's a one line change..

Basically in "GUIXmRadio.cs" in PlayChannel, "playlistPlayer.Play" is failing at some point, so instead it now calls g_Player.PlayAudioStream....

(i believe g_Player connects up to Windows Media Player directly, of course the BASS sound engine has replaced that and is used now in 0.2.3.0, hence the problems..)

Yes the first link has the original source code along with the original dll, the second link has only the prebuilt *.dll i made one evening for 0.2.2.4..
