Interest in North America XM Radio/Sirius internet plugin? (5 Viewers)

For those of you who use this plugin, it crashes shortly after selecting the station id from xm, in MP 0.2.1.0

After comparing the log files of 0.2.1.0 and 0.2.0.4, it looks as thou after sending the html address to AudioPlayerVMR7.play g_Player.OnStarted() is not being returned. Somewhere in between there issues arise.

Just copy the updated *.dll over your original.

Changes FYI -

Basically in "GUIXmRadio.cs" in PlayChannel, "playlistPlayer.Play" is failing at some point, so instead it now calls g_Player.PlayAudioStream....

It's an ugly hack, as album art and song title are no longer listed when played, but it works until a better solution can be found. (more time debuging..)

ps. always backup your old *.dll

Thanks for fixing it, Rob. But it's still not working perfect for me. I go into the module and it looks like it's loading the channels and then nothing happens. I go out and come back in and they're listed. It never used to do this.

Hey keith,

I'm not sure why the plugin is doing that, it's always had that bug for me. With the original and this version, i'd first have to open the module then exit then reopen and it would be fine.

Very Much Interest in Sirius

+1 for interest in Sirius Radio streaming. While they have that stinking CAPTCHA, their "premium player" is an ActiveX control. I wonder if that can be harnessed...

Are there any more updates in the works? I agree with other opinions in this thread, that this is the last "big" plugin as far as I'm concerned. I'd sure love to see Favorites and album art added again (I'm using the modified .dll, hence the missing album art).
