Long time since the last time I was here on the forums...

I've tried this a few times and have the same error every time. In between attempts I did an uninstall, removed all Mediaportal 2 folders under Programdata and did a reboot. So I assume I'm starting with no legacy settings whatsoever.

I'm running in Single Seat. On this brand-new installation, I go to settings > media sources > media sources configuration > Add media source. I choose a subfolder of a drive on Local System and don't change the suggested name. Then I activate Share Watcher (though I remember it happens even if I don't activate the share watcher). The categorie is Video/Movie. For a specific folder I get the "Internal error while configuring the media source" every time. For another folder I don't, never.

    Attached are the logs

As you already noticed the error doesn't affect functionality. The observed issue has already been fixed and will be rolled out to the community in 2.1 Final.
