Can't do it....at the mo...

Basically realmediasplitter redirects the realaudio streams to directshow, this does work with simple realaudio streams, however there's something with the BBC streams which realmediaspliiter doesn't support.

any chance we could get a RECORD function in MediaPortal....coz that would just be crazy

if MP just supported audio recording from shoutcast streams...that would be nuts!

and a recored button would be great... I mean tape players have a record button so you can record radio... woooooo CrAzY?

yes...recording already works in XboxMediaCenter extremely well keeping the .MP3 file and track names, a separating the recording by channel in different directories......we need this in MP ...please

A lot of kudos for the guy telling me how to start this stream in MP:

fm4.orf.at/static/stream/index.html

In XBMC it is working with the embedded mms:// address, but i don't get it to run in MP. :-(

Using the view source option of your browser, will reviel this address:

mms://stream1.orf.at/fm4_live

Try putting this in MP!

juvinious, thanks for the shoutcast plugin. It's great work, easy to use and does exactly what you'd think it would. It's the first additional plugin I've tried with MP and imho something exactly like this should get included with MP.
