Thanks for your comment, yes having the MPiV app updated to support iOS11 would be great as it has all the functionality I need as I don’t need all the system control integration of the iViewer 4 app not to mention it looks far too complicated for the average joe to just operate mediaportal.

Sorry I missed a previous message from you @johanj about moving to Android.
I have decided against it for a few different reasons, however I would love to see an update of some kind as I’m still stuck on the original release due to a reinstall.
Hoping for some news.
Thanks anyway. I use it every day to stream and watch remotely.

Sorry for late reply. Had a hectic period at work with release of compaines software, then my htpc/server broke where all media including 20 years of family photos were lost. Havent had the time to recover the server and Im in Thailand now with family until dec. I will fix the update of the app but cant say when. MPiV works fine on iOS 11 with the latest iviewer and updated gui. Need to find the time to go through app store update.
