I suspect too slow donload speed from some countries. Download is fine here but it fails for some. I have sent an updated version to Command Fusion that will push to appstore but they havent yet submitted that.

MPExt for MediaPortal 2 require changes in MPiV and these will lead to an update. But that is first after all is MPiV features are working with MP2Ext and that can take some time.

Not exactly. SlimTV is supported in the "wrong" direction, MP2 Client (SlimTV client) -> MP2 Server (SlimTV service) -> MPExtended -> MP1 (TVServer)
Eve and the other clients will need MPExtended plugins which can either talk to MP2 Server or for the whole of MPExtended to be embedded into MP2 Server. There's some Proof Of Concept...
