Unfortunately iRule is not able to display the movies, series and music that is on my HTPC, I think. I guess you should really have an MediaPortal app to do that, but we'll see what it is capable of.

It can make a connection through a http gateway. I know little about that stuff but i hope this makes it possible to have a two way system. :D

    it actually is... you can install VLC media player for free (in the app store) ..

    it supports RTSP ... so you can watch the livestream from mediaportal .. works... :D

    i would like a mediaportal Ipad client also .. but for the moment VLC works also .. TV in the bathtub is nice :D
