IPHONE Streaming Mediaportal Videos !

Hi Iphone Mediaportal users

My son found a easy solution to use the iphone as a streaming client for the mediaportal.
We installed the iphone app air-video and the air-video Software on the mediaportal server.

About Air Video

air-video allows a live stream conversion of the stored videos to the iphone format.
It works great !

If you could integreate this app to the mediaportal gui ........

Remark: Live TV is not possible.

how far is the new v1.1 compatible version? i really love your ipimp but i cannot use it anymore because mp 1.1 with actual svn is working like a charm here

heburg - I've had a look at this - it's very good. Its 'Live conversion' facility uses Apples HTTP Live Streaming standard which is what I also want to use. Air-video has a server component which does everything, acts as the web server, manages video conversion, implements Live HTTP Streaming using a segmenter and it runs on windows. Unfortunately it's closed source and deployed as a single binary. So other than confirming this segmenting can be done on windows there's not much I can take from this.

nicx - I have installed MP1.1 & SVN on a dev box today with a view to updating iPiMP, hopefully I can release two versions of iPiMP 4.0.2, one for MP 1.0.2 and one for MP 1.1.0.

Can you try the following with the existing iPiMP 4.0.1, copy the following files from C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server to C:\Program Files\iPiMP\Aspx\bin

• DirectShowLib.dll
• TvBusinessLayer.dll
• TvControl.dll
• TVDatabase.dll
• TvLibrary.Interfaces.dll

Let me know if that gets iPiMP 4.0.1 working?

good news: its working i get no more errors exept that i cannot add any new recordings. i always get the ipimp message "cannot add recording"

edit: hm the recording schedule is created, so its just the wrong message

I am using MP1.1 and iPimp4.0.1.
The add recording only worked with a change in the mysql table "schedule".
I had to add a default value for the column "series".
With the copy of the dlls now it works without changing the table "schedule".
I have no error message !

But here are some problems:
TV Service Status - unknown

iPimp Administration - Settings :

and a problem with deleting a recording.
When i add a recording from iPimp i can see this
in the recording list. When i delete this planned recording
in MP on my PC. It is in not removed from the list in iPimp.
When i click on it i get this:

iPiMP 4.0.2 released

iPiMP 4.0.2 is released with the fixes for the defects found so far in 4.0.1, Swedish (thanks to umlaut and his girlfriend) & French (thanks to truffe) languages are included also.

There is also a version compiled for MP 1.1 SVNs - this hasn't been fully tested though as I am not running this on my live system yet. For those who have reported bugs with MP 1.1 SVN please upgrade to this version of iPiMP 4.0.2

I am using MP 1.1.0 Beta1 SVN build 24553.
And i tried your version 4.0.2.334 for MP 1.1 SVN.
I got a new error when i go to the channels :

"The column state in table Program does not exist"
