sjeffrey: Assuming your using x64: This is a known error in IRSS and the MP team is working on it.
I have the same issue with my USB UIRT.

Support for USB UIRT x64 broke after release 1.0.3.5

Try Intelliremote or Girder maybe.
HID does not work on Win7.

I haven't even installed MP on that box yet. So the problem is outside MP.
Is it worth going to version 1.0.3.5? I need to blast IR commands from TVServer so I don't know if there's a plugin for Girder, Intelliremote or Eventghost.

1.0.3.5 does work but its quite an unstable release.
There should be a fixed version within a day or two where usb uirt support works again.

Currently chemelli is working on this, i'll ask him about his tonight.

But it is the MCE Remote I have the big problems whit, it doesn't work at all.
Should that be in the imon section to???

Am I right in you have an iMON receiver? Yes, then please step in to iMON support.

No i have two systems one whit imon remote and imon knoob reciver, that i maintain for a friend.
And another whit standard mce remote and standard mce reciver, that would be my system...
So I am not trying to youse the mce remote thru a imon reciver.

the imon system works now, some hove it works after reinstalling everything...

the mce is still no go... does it have to do whit the usb uirt not working i se others write about?
I have a 32bits vista system thou...

Ok, then I got you wrong...
I'm sry, but I don't have this setup and as well never had a look on the code behind it.
Can you post your logs (only from the machine where you use the MCE) with newest test build?
