Hi everyone,

I have updated the wiki as per skoka123 suggestion. right now it says that the page does not exist yet. this is my first time editing the wiki and i really feel proud that i have my little share in all the big efforts you guys are doing here. I don;t know how much time it takes to get this wiki page back online.

I did not upload any of the picture that i put in my original document, otherwise it will be a confusion with the existing (vista) screen shots with my (XP) screen shots. instead I just merge the text with the existing one.

Please feel free to edit in case you want. the idea here is to create document as good as possible.

The page existed but the content was rremoved by someone today

I restored it, please update it there and delete old or upload new pictures.

It is not necessary, but it would be nice if you register in wiki first and login then.

Chemelli, sorry didnt have time to check the forum yesterday. Will test tonight !

Edit:
New logs. Inputservice detect clearly results in a false response. It simply doesnt see the connected device/driver?
Is there some hardcoded reference to something like registry keys, entries, driver, etc'?

Might be worth noting there are driver entries for both sys32 and syswow64 but sys32 has one more file. Could there be an issue between entries in sys32 and syswow64?

I just found this plugin but I'm a bit lost as I do not know, whether I should install the IRSS or not. I have integrated iMON VFD + remote, and both are working under MP (with Minidisplay plugin + soundgraph drivers+tools).

So do I need IRSS?

Thx for the log, at least we are progressing

What fails is

IntPtr handle = UUIRTOpen();

but beeing in a try/catch block we don't get the exception.

Hi all!

First I just whant to say that IRSS is the greatest...
I use it for many things in my htpc:s today.
I have taken my self time to try out the latest test versions of IRSS, I am currently running version 1.0.4.1 and it works perfecly whit my MCE Remote... but not so good whit the IMON Knoob on my other system...

Now to the testing and findings...
probably this is already here in the forum but lets take it again...

Imon whorks good whit the latest version 1.4.2.2975 and abstrackt remote mappings...
the onley problem is that I cant get the channel up/down to work... the preses are registred in the logs an by the debug client but it doesn't generate any reaction?

the MCE Remote doesn't work at all thou...
When using the abstrakt remote mappings some buttons work butt very few.
If i use the MCE mappings nothing works at all i have preses in the mce trans logs and the irss logs but no reactions, i have tried to uncheck the use abstrakt in irss config and I am using the input service...
In version 1.0.4.1 I use the MCE (full) mappings and all buttons work perfectly, but there is no mce (full) in 1.4.2.2975...

what is wrong?

Please test attached dlls. Want to see if there is any difference.
Also the exact error message for the crash should be now logged.
