Hey chemelli or any one else for that matter noticing sticky key behavour. When I'm inside MP and flip back to windows some times the Windows, Ctrl, Alt keys seem to be stuck, not in any particular order. Also in some cases had issues with basic windows functions when it came to the matter of mouse loosing functionality. Strangely enough was able to fix by doing CTRL ALT DEL or by closing IRSS.. Also when MP is exited it seems to disable irserver...

Using latest version, don't recall having this issue with 2975. Please advise what logs would be of use. Thank you.

This issue is due to a rework and then a rename of some IRSS core part.
Is fixed in svn, so you have just to wait for the next public build if you don't want to compile yourself...

Please disable MiniPlugin in the time been...

Hi,

I am using a very old build of IRSS with MCE remote and blaster. It is at least 6 months old. The later versions did not work properly for me hence I stuck with this old version. There is only one issue with this build that I have (Sorry, I do not remember the build number). When the system wakes up from S3 state, though the basic MCE remote direction keys work, nothing else works. Things like, selecting a program in the guide for changing channels etc do not work. The solution for it is to restart IRSS service.

Has this issue been fixed in the later builds? If so, what is the stable build that one would suggest me to use?

Another question: How do I backup the existing IRSS settings?

Tried latest debug v3 of dll. Now IRService does not start (cannot be started manually either). Get "Cannot learn a new launch button without being connected to an active IR Server" error in Tray Launcher. X10 still checked by default.

Hi chemelli,

can confirm that IR Server service doesn't start with debug.dll v3. (Error message is something like "IR Server was unexpectly closed"). My Server.log is attached.

Another question: How do I backup the existing IRSS settings?

For me a backup of

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IR Server Suite

did fine.

A reinstal didn't deleted this folder and if I did a clean/complete uninstall, I could restore all settings from the backup of this folder.

Thanks chemelli. I don't imagine it will be a big wait... You guys are re-compiling IRSS all the time, so I think I will just wait...

Hey I'm new to this program.. I just installed my antec 3.5" bay ir receiver and I'm using it with an MCE remote instead of the remote it came with.. does IR Server Suite work with this? the imon software is terrible and odesn't let me map keyboard keys to teh remote buttons. I have the 7.6 imon software installed and also ir server suite 3018. when I exit the imon thing and try to map keys via ir server suite, it says they time out
edit: I have both imon and ir server suite set to MCE instead of rm100

Hi - has anyone had any success using the internal IR receiver on a Mac Mini with this??

If anyone is using this with a Mac Mini receiver - are you able to use the remote for power on/off??
