    Noob alert!

using 1.0.4.1 and TVE3blaster plugin I found I could learn but not blast. with 1.0.4.2 I could blast but not learn.
I'm using 1.0.4.2 now and blasting is very hit and miss. when I test each individual command my sky bow sees this fine. When I test a full 3 digit number this also works fine. When I try to change channels a lot of them work fine. some are very unreliable. 604 for example usually returns 60 on the skybox. 106 sometimes returns 06.
I've tried adjusting the values in input service configuration and the plugin itself. these don't seem to help.
I am using the built in sky profile, not sure how to create one plus learn doesn't work for me in 1.0.4.2.
The other skybox profiles don't make any difference either and don't match my box.
I may be imagining things but it seems like the first two blasts are almost on top of each other.
I've been testing in the dark to avoid ir interferance from the sun wich does cause a problem during the day.
    Please help.

Have you tried increasing the delay between digits in the STB setup section?

Other than that, some log files might shed some more light on the problem.

    Cheers,

I've tried increasing the delay between digits to 600ms, in test that's what appears to happen. After a reboot it is a little better. but still some blast appear to come to fast. I've now worked out how to learn from my sky remote in the TV3 blaster plugin. operator error it seems there. but that didn't help.
Am I right in thinking I just change the log level to verbose in the plugin. Where abouts does the log get written?

Thanks for the quick reply and really nice work on the plugin. I just couldn't use MP without it.

    Bill.

So, I think I know whats going on here. It seems as though the plugin is sending my IR blasts to my sky box from my usbuirt to quickly, that is the first blast happens while I am still holding the ok button to choose the channel I now want to watch. I think the IR remote is swamping the USBUIRT bug. I feel as though I have confirmed this by bluetacking the usbuirt bug onto the sky box IR reciever.
I now have perfect control over my sky box. Would it be hard to make the usbuirt blast once the ok is released. If thats possible and I've missed the option sorry.

You could try setting a pre-change command in your STB setup in the plugin, and have that run a macro that has a pause for 500ms... this should give it enough time so that the remote has stopped transmitting when the blaster starts.

I'll also look at adding a start delay time to STB setup.

    Cheers,
