I test it with two analogue cards with radio support one Leadtek PVR2000 and one Hauppauge PVR 1100.
In first card cannot find stations when scan or when added by hand and with the second says this card does not support radio

I need just an answer if it is supported to search after what im i doing wrong ?

Best regards

Michael

Hi,

first a happy new year for everbody.

I have a similar problem. I have a HVR 1300, and MP (1.0) doesn't find any stations. Scanning ist stopping by the first frequency (87.50 MHZ) or by the frequency (88.30 MHZ).

Greetings
Peter

With 1.0 I can't even scan for radio channels. Have Hauppauge PVR 350 and HVR 1800 cards installed. Under the cards tab, 4 capture cards show up (all enabled) including a RadioWebStream Card. But that doesn't appear in the expanded list below, no option to scan for radio channels visible anywhere I can find.

    Same here...
    Using WinTV-PVR-150 & XP MC 2002.
I can scan and hear FM radio in the winTV program, but Media Portal will only scan 4 or 5 frequencies (both when selecting cable or antenna).
Attached the log file while trying to make a scan.

    Hi,
i am using the Hauppauge HVR1300. I have added the radiostations manually in the TV-Server configuration. Automatic scanning is also not working. Stops at the first frequency (87.50 Mhz). But a manually setup does the trick. It took me some try and error in the configuration to select the right device mapping but finally its working.

As the HVR-1300 is a hybrid-card you need to select the right tuner when adding a radio-station. But then you should be able to "preview" the radio-station in the TV-Server configuration. In my case a empty black window appears and the selected radio-station comes clearly out of my speakers.

But i still have one problem:
Edited radio-stations working fine in the server configuration, but not in the client-application. As describe above i can "preview" the configured radio-stations but in the client application when selecting the configured radio-station its not working.

In my case i have the following setup:
The HVR-1300 has 2 connectors. One for radio and one for tv. I have connected a DVB-T antenna to the tv-connector. Everything is working as expected. Which means i can record, view, switch channels and timeshift programs.
The radio-connector is connected to cable and therefore i am using analog signals for radio. As described above i can click on preview in the tv-server setup and the selected channel is outputted to the speakers. But a selection in the client results in just nothing.

    Help would be very apprecated!

    Best Regards
    Thorsten

PS: I am currently not at my HTPC. I will add logfiles from the client / server today when back at home.

Yes! This was the right hint!!!

    Hi Tesla,
    perfect! :D :D :D

After i changed the settings according to you instructions, its finally working.

I am sure that some people will have same problem. So maybe i will try to write a little HOW-TO.

Configuration in this tab (configure radio-stations manually) is a little bit confusing, because i thought the channel is used to assign a "short-cut"-number to the station and entered the frequency in the field above.

    Again :D:D:D

    Regards
    Thorsten
