Is there a way to make the Basic Home menu static non-scrolling? (1 Viewer)

I only have three menu items... TV Shows, Movies, Weather. It would be great to only have those showing in the menu and move up and down between them without scrolling.

As it is now Basic Home scrolls and repeats sections just to fill out the menu.

Sorry, no option to do this currently. We maybe able to make a Static menu option if its something a lot of people request but this is the first time.

By Design, we enforce a minimum of 5 and have a cyclic menu.

To use myHome or Basic Home with a touchscreen would it be a nice feature to set it static or with buttoncontrol in topbar for up and down.

The scrollspeed of the menu in myHome is very fast and i´ve really great problems to control it only with mouse or fingertouch.

Is there any chance to get control with up and down topbarbuttons in myHome? I´ve build my own topbar years ago for old streamedmp releases with up and down buttons for touchcontrol, but the buttons still only work on all other categories, not at myHome.

Ok,I try out first step with doityourself

Because of the idea from GollyJer I´ve edit the myHome.xml and now it´s fine for touchscreen use

I´ve minimize the scrolltime and set it to 7 menu items, so only scrolling down is possible with touching the first menu item, but so you can select the 5 other items without any other action in one screen.

For those who want to test it , rename the "myHome-touchscreen-7menü.xml" to "myHome.xml" and copy it into "C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP\"
....before of this save your original myHome.xml or rename it to myHome.xml.old please !

The topbar.xml is modified too, a little other placement with other buttons, perhaps it is usefull for someone

I´ve upload the topbar and icons again as a rar file, it´much faster to download.

The old one is with listconrol for page up and down.
Since the new versions of streamed mp I only used the build in arrows to navigate up and down, but perhaps someone like it
