If this has been covered already I apologize, but I just can't seem to find the fix. So how does one change the image for each plugin after entering the plugin list?

I don't want to use the same image for.....infoservice, lastfm, news, and radiotime plugs, I made up a few that I want to use.........

ie: The below images.

Img#1 - This is not what I want.

Img#2 - This is what I'm trying to use as the images.

I really appreciate a step by step on a how to achieve this task.

Thanks in advance. :D

Yes this is possible. The default backdrops for plugins are stored in:

C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP\Media\SMPBackgrounds

Go there and create new folders based on the different plugins you have (name doesn't really matter as long as you know what they are). Put the images you want in those folders. Launch the basic home editor, and go to basic home design tab. Select on the right the item you wish to change, the click edit towards the bottom. Under single image folder in the middle, use the drop down and select the folder that corrisponds, then click save on the right hand side. Repeat for each one you wish to change.

You can also just select the browse option when editing, and point it to a new folder.

Once you are done, go to the default background images tab and change everything to what you want.

Hop-Scotch, Thanks....Your idea does work, but not the way I want.

I only want to change the background images in the list of plugins screen only. (after entering the browse your plugins button).

I want to keep all the plugins in one designated area and not have everything in one big list.

What's the point of keeping your plugs in the same main (home) list with the videos, music, pics etc.?

For some reason infoservice, last.fm, news and radiotime share the same background image. The question is why?

Other plugs like stream radio, kindgirls, online videos don't have this problem.

I can use my own background images with no problems at all. Which is in the "SMPBackgrounds"/.

Certain plugin backgrounds can only be changed if you keep them in the main home screen, but can't change them.... if you put them in the plugin list screen. Weird.

    Yes!, this worked.....thanks ltfearme. :)

I only have one problem with one plugin. The last.fm plug just won't take, no matter what combo I label it.

    ie:

    hover_last.fm, hover_lastfm, hover_my lastfm, hover_my last.fm........... the same background image doesn't change. I'm out of combinations.

According to LastFmRadio code it should be: hover_LastFmRadio.png
