Issues with MCE compatible remote (2 Viewers)

    What is the device recognised as under device manager, that will take you a long way forward in getting support.

    it possibly could be listed in 3 places, USB controllers, keyboards and mice.

    Yep just run that program and press some buttons on your remote. If you see output in the bottom window of the app then you know your remote is HID compliant and should be able to work in both MP and in Intelliremote with a little tweaking.

    If you get no output in the bottom window from pressing buttons then your remote is not a HID compliant remote.

    Post the results or a screenshot if it works!

    Hmmm...By pushing the remote buttons I had this results:
    With up and down arrows I had no output but it moved the selection on the program (there was activity in windows but not in the program).When I pressed the volume buttons the program showed output.Adn with thw "pc" button.Everything else was dead...
